What is web development?

Web development is also known as web development. It involves the creation, maintenance, and management of websites and web apps that can be accessed online via a browser. However, it may also include web design and web programming. Web development is closely linked to the task of designing features and functionality for apps (webdesign). Development is often used to refer to the actual construction of these things. 

What Exactly is Web Development?

Web development is closely linked to the design of features and functionality for websites and apps (often referred to as "web design") but "web development" is typically reserved for the actual building and programming of apps. 

Think of all the websites you have used over the years – Web Developers built those sites, making sure they functioned properly and performed in ways that allowed for a great user experience. Web Developers do this by writing lines of code, using a variety of programming languages, which vary depending on the tasks they are performing and the platforms they are working on.


There are three type of web development:-


  • Front-end development
  • Back-end development
  • Full-stack development


Front-end development:- 

Front-end development is the "client-facing side" of web development.  It refers to the part of the website, app, or digital product that users interact with. The Front-End developer is responsible for how a digital product "feels" and looks. They are also often referred to as Web Designers. Front-End developers will need to have a good understanding of programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. They also need to be familiar with frameworks like React Bootstrap and Backbone as well as frameworks such as EmberJS, AngularJS and AngularJS.


Back-end development:- 

While Front-End Developers can control how a digital product looks like, Back-End Developers focus on how it actually works. They are responsible for the technical aspects of the software, such as user authentication, database interactions, and network configuration. Back-End Developers are responsible for ensuring the functionality of the site. This includes its responsiveness, speed, and security.


Full-stack development:- 

A Full-Stack developer is someone who can do both front-end and back-end development. They can be generalists and are able to wear both hats.If the title is contentious it's because of the generalist nature the position. Employers want Full-Stack Developers - According to an Indeed study they are the fourth most in-demand job in tech.
